With the acquisition of Tucson SEO .com I’ve been actively screening potential seo partners to help fulfill our clients in the Tucson Market.
Just over a month ago I went to Tucson to meet a gentleman by the name of Tim A who came highly recommended. His reputation was that of a passionate and dedicated search engine optimizers as well as an extraordinary salesperson. Tim was just that.
For many years Tim flew under the radar working odd and end jobs as a independent search engine optimizers for various .com’s around the nation which is why we decided it was time to launch a internet marketing blog dedicated to reaching out to Tucson small business owners.
Search Engine Optimizers are without one of a kind and I thought I’ve seen it all – I was wrong. Roughly two weeks after the new blog was launched Tim’s blog was hit by what I would call one of the most egotistical goobers I have ever seen.

I’m the big dog of SEO in Tucson, as in [COMPANY NAME]. Since I have been the King of SEO (both #1 and # 2) here for the last two years and a half years I know a thing or two about this market that you may not.
I have seen dozens of companies enter this market over the last three years. Most abandon the market after 6 months or so.
Bring it on… let’s see what you or Nick has got and how much effort that you are willing to put into this effort. I work at this 7 days a week and the only way that I will be dethroned is when I quit and that’s not happening anytime soon.

If you understand SEO at all then you know this. It is extremely difficult to overcome a company that has a three year heads start, that has their primary keyword (Tucson SEO) in their domain name, that was thousands of useful backlinks, and that is committed to being # 1 and # 2.
This is a business that takes every challenge seriously until they give up and go away. By the way I have had a 100% success rate getting my clients onto the first page of Google for multiple keyword phrases.
